Keyboard Shortcuts

Here's where to find every shortcut, plus the handful of keys worth learning first for navigation and undo.

W opens the Wonderlist — a searchable list of every item in Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts, with a tooltip explaining each action.
Every circled "i" icon in WonderMail opens its explanation when you hover over it or when you click or tap it, so it works on touch screens too. Click it again, move away, or press Escape to close it.
Wonderlist always shows your current customized keys. Context-only entries open and use their existing Go-to, Snooze, Park, or composer controls; mouse and touch behaviors are listed for reference.
Change any key: in Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts click the key beside an action and press the key you want (Esc cancels). Only one key can listen for a new shortcut at a time; clicking another key moves the "Press…" prompt there. ↺ resets one, "Reset all to defaults" resets everything. W, Esc, Return, the arrows, Space and ⌘/Ctrl-Z are fixed.

Pro Tip: learn W first. Instead of memorising the list, search the Wonderlist for what you want to do and it shows you the key.

G opens the Go-to menu for boxes and labels (G then T for Tasks, G then H for Trash, G then D for Drafts, G then S for Sent).
Direct keys: I Inbox, O Other, P Follow-Ups, T Tasks, / Search, U refresh.
Space scrolls the reading pane down one screen; Shift+Space scrolls it back up.
Escape steps back one level at a time: it closes the open menu or modal first, then saves and closes an open reply (it goes to Drafts and you stay on that email), then clears search, then returns to the top of the Inbox.

Pro Tip: Escape is safe to press repeatedly — it unwinds one layer at a time and always ends at the top of your Inbox.
