AI Help

Here's how the built-in AI assistant answers questions about WonderMail and about your own mail.

Asking a question

Type a question in Help (or in the search box) and choose Ask AI to get an answer about WonderMail.

Help opens on the topic for the screen you are on — for example, opening Help from the Reading List tab in Tasks jumps straight to the Reading List section. Every other topic stays in the list on the left.

The assistant is grounded in this help content, so it answers about features exactly as they behave — and it can also look at your own mail, tasks and accounts to answer questions like "how many unread emails do I have?".

After an AI answer, choose Ask another question to clear it and return to the question box, or choose Close. You can also press Escape or use the X to close Help.

Ask for a link to any help page — for example "give me a link to the help doc on Send & Archive" — and the answer includes a clickable link that opens the page in a new tab; matching topics also appear as Read more links under the answer.

Pro Tip: ask about your own mailbox, not just features — questions like "how many unread emails do I have?" are answered from your live data.

Limits and accuracy

  • General, non-personal search-box answers are shared across users for up to 7 days, so asking the same question again is instant and does not use the daily limit. Answers based on your mail, tasks, accounts, open conversation, documents, searches, or clarifications are never shared.
  • There is a limit of 100 AI questions per day per user.
  • If one AI provider is busy, WonderMail automatically switches to a backup provider and answers anyway; you only see a message when all three are busy at once.
  • If the assistant does not know something, add it here: help content is the assistant's only source of product knowledge.
